Oh, let’s do this~ I don’t wanna stress about watching movies during the holidays. It’s time. Time for End of the Year lists, but also time to segregate my list… just like I did...
The YAMMag team got together for their traditional round of voting for their favorite films this 2015.
Japanese filmmaker Shunji Iwai just announced the release of his latest film titled Rip Van Winkle no Hanayome (リップヴァンウィンクルの花嫁) featuring Haru Kuroki, Gou Ayano and Cocco.
Fresh of her mother’s divorce, Arisugawa Tetsuko hears about the mysterious murder of a student, and meets the peculiar shut-in girl named Hana with whom she’ll form a unique friendship of misheard words and quirky plans gone wrong.
There are a lot of movie all over the world, some left in distribution limbo, some others left unsubtitled, so this is my attempt at making some sort of comprehensive list of what I thought was great… with some surprises, like last year.
We took a little longer to get together and talk about the movies we wanted to watch this 2014… but here they are in all their glory. Over 60 films were in contention, but only 15 got the most votes.
