K-Pop Night Out – Austin, Texas 2015

The charming ladies of The Barberettes joined us next, and other than Epik High, I heard the crowd mention them as the act everyone was looking forward to most beforehand. When you picture a doo-wop trio, you don’t exactly know what to expect out of a performance, because many of the barber shop style performances back in the day were rather stale – no so with these gals. They know how to put on a show, and the smiles on their faces will put a smile on any one watching. With creative choreography, smart and quick-witted dialogue to engage the audience, and their natural positive stage presence, The Barberettes were certainly the biggest delight of the whole night.
