Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon Trailer with English Subtitles
The first trailer to Vishal Bhardwaj’s war romance, Rangoon, is finally out after been postponed from its original September 2016 release [1]. Though early rumored [1] to be a biopic on the famous Fearless Nadia [Wikipedia], starring Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor; the story is a love triangle set during the World War II period in India, which has been drawing comparisons to classic Casablanca [1].
The film reunites Bhardwaj with Saif Ali Khan — both of whom are also producing the picture alongside Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment — after their collaboration in Omkara nearly a decade ago; also marking Bhardwaj’s third collaboration with Shahid Kapoor after Kaminey and Haider.
Rangoon is set for a release in India and other desi-friendly regions on February 24th.
