Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals Trailer

The first trailer for Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals, an adaptation of the novel Tony and Susan by Austin Wright is finally out. The film follows the life of Susan Morrow (Amy Adams), an art gallery owner who is haunted by her ex-husband’s novel. Edward Sheffield (Jake Gyllenhaal), who has written a violent thriller she believes is a threat and a symbolic revenge tale.

The film opened to really great reviews at the most recent Venice Film Festival, earning Ford the Silver Lion.

Nocturnal Animals also stars Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney, Andrea Riseborough, Michael Sheen and Jena Malone.

The film opens on November 18th in Los Angeles and New York, right on time for Award Season. With a limited release by November 23rd, and expansion by December 9th.

Universal is handling rights in the UK (Nov4), Thailand (Dec1), The Netherlands (Dec1), Austria (Dec), Canada (Dec9) Germany (Dec22), France (Jan4), Greece, and Latin America [Venezuela + Mexico]. Paramount Pictures in New Zealand on November 10.
