The Smurfs Trailer 3

Yes, the little blue characters created by Peyo are getting their very own film. A third trailer for The Smurfs has been released.

Narrated by Frank Langella, The Smurfs takes place for the most part in New York City, featuring Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Jayma Mays (Glee) as married couple Patrick and Grace Winslow, who shelter the Smurfs while they find a way back to their village.

Other live action cast members include Hank Azaria as Gargamel, Sofia Vergara and Tim Gunn.  Papa Smurf is voiced by Jonathan Winters (he voiced Grandpa Smurf in the original cartoons) and Katy Perry voices Smurfette. The rest of the Smurfs are voiced by Alan Cumming, Anton Yelchin, George Lopez, B.J. Novak and others.

The film premieres on July 29 in 3D.

I HATE how this looks. LOL I can’t even look at it. xD

@amy, You hate the color blue and sky blue, right?

      • amy says:

@Rodrigo, actually I always pegged Blue as my favorite color. I just don’t like the overall look on the whole thing. The Smurfs look like they were just pasted there. LOL That look bothers me, I think it looks even worse than the chipmunks movie. xD

        • Rodrigo says:

@amy, Mentioned the hate of blue and sky blue because of the Avatar film.

          Chipmunks is an unbearable film.

Now that a Smurfs film is done, what’s left for Hollywood to rape in terms of childhood memories? Jonny Quest, Jetsons, Animaniacs?
