Winner of the Best Actor prize at Cannes this year, for Mads Mikkelsen, as well as nominated for a Palme d’Or, The Hunt follows a man named Lucas (Mikkelsen), who is restarting his life with a new girlfriend and a new job, when a random lie snowballs into a nightmare in the small community he lives in.

The Hunt was directed by Thomas Vinterberg, director of Dear Wendy, and was written with Tobias Lindholm.

The film will open in the Netherlands on October 25th, with Russia and France on November dates, and expansions to Denmark and Sweden by next year.
