After dabbling with politics on his take of the 2008 American election campaign in Game Change, Jay Roach teams up with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis for the political comedy, The Campaign.

In it, Will Ferrel plays Cam Brady, a North Carolina politician who has run unopposed for several elections and has presidential aspirations, until Marty Huggins (Galifianakis) shows up in his life. Then, it’s a battle on who will get the most votes… and they will do anything to get them.

The cast is rounded up  Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott, Brian Cox, Jack McBrayer, and John Lithgow.

The Campaign is set for an August 10th release date in the US, just ahead of the American presidential elections ;P
