Chris Colfer, best known for playing Kurt Hummel on Fox’s Glee, serves as a screenwriter, producer and actor in Struck by Lightning.
Directed by Brian Dannelly (Saved!, Weeds), Struck by Lightning follows Carson Phillips (Colfer) as he blackmails his fellow classmates into contribuiting to his literary magazine.
The cast includes Allison Janney, Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Sarah Hyland (Modern Family), Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids) and Dermot Mulroney.
Struck by Lightning is set to be released during 2012 (date: TBA).

I like Allison Janney and Christina Hendricks, so I’ll watch it anyway… but that trailer is wayyyy to long. Also, were those Cheerios uniforms? xD Also, Chris Colfer reminded me a lot of Joseph Cross – you know, the guy on Ryan Murphy’s Running with Scissors? xD
