Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer

The first teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, with J.J. Abrams as the director, has arrived online.
Not much is known about The Force Awakens‘ plot, but it will take place 30 years after the events from Return of the Jedi. The most notable scenes are the first look on the lead characters played by John Boyega and Daisy Ridley as well as the new Sith lightsaber design and the Millennium Falcon back in action (lens flare shot included).
The cast includes new Star Wars members John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Chong, Crystal Clarke, and Pip Andersen. Actors returning to the franchise include Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Warwick Davis. The screenplay has been co-written by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan while George Lucas serves as a creative consultant and John Williams is in charge of the soundtrack.
Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens premieres on December 18, 2015.
