Star Trek Into Darkness International Trailer

Today at midnight the international trailer of Star Trek Into Darkness was released into the world via iTunes, and it’s so awesome I almost cried:

This new trailer is full of action and gives us some more detail into villain John Harrison and how dire the situation is for not only the Enterprise, but also the Federation and planet Earth. But of course, the Enterprise crew isn’t going to just stand around and take it.

Also, this trailer is the UK version, but iTunes also released many others: Australian, Russian, Brazillian, Mexican and German, which all have some tiny differences, that shows their marketing department are crafty bastards and makes fans watch every single one of them to spot them. Maybe they also want to make us multilingual.

Star Trek Into Darkness is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, and Benedict Cumberbatch. The film premieres on May 17, 2013 .
