A trailer for the upcoming comedy/drama/romance/sci-fi film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World has been unleashed.
Steve Carell stars as Dodge, a lonely man who sets out with his neighbor Penny (Keira Knightley) to find his high school sweetheart during Earth’s final days. However, Penny inadvertently puts a wrench in his plans.
Lorene Scafaria, best known for working on the screenplay for Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, makes her debut as a film director with Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which she also scripted. The cast also includes Melanie Lynskey, Connie Britton, Patton Oswalt, Adam Brody, TJ Miller, William Petersen and Rob Corddry.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World premieres against Pixar’s Brave [1, 2, 3] and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Huner [4] on June 22, 2012.

MAN….. this sounds really good but seeing as it has Keira in it… MAN!

@Julyssa, I wished Lynskey was the lead actress instead of Keira. But let’s hope for Carell and the script to make her look good.
