Romeo and Juliet (2013) Trailer

William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet gets another film adaptation thanks to Italian director Carlo Cerlei (Flight of the Innocent) and UK screenwriter Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey).

The premise is simple: Romeo (Douglas Booth) and Juliet (Hailee Steinfeld) are star-crossed lovers. When two enemy families meet, forbidden love ensues.

The cast includes Damian Lewis, Paul Giamatti, Stellan Skarsgård, Natasha McElhone, Ed Westwick, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Tomas Arana, Laura Morante, Lesley Manville and Christian Cooke.

Romeo and Juliet has yet to reveal a US release date, but it will be screened first in the UK on October 25, 2013.
