Park Chan-wook’s Stoker Trailer

Personally speaking, I can’t wait to watch your life tear you apart.

Damn, Nicole~ You’re so chilly!

Beware, possible trailer with too many spoilers ahead!!!

The long-awaited trailer for Park Chan-wook’s English debut film Stoker is finally out. And despite the spoiler, it still looks quite fantastic.

Written by Wentworth Miller, the script for Stoker was in script limbo when it landed on the infamous Hollywood Black List of “unproduced” scripts. In it, Nicole Kidman plays Evie Stoker, India’s (Mia Wasikowska) mother… newly widowed Mrs. Stoker, until the arrival of mysterious Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode)~ then things start to get dark and possibly kinky.

The cast is rounded out by Dermot Mulroney and Jacki Weaver, also as part of the Stoker family.

Stoker is set to open in March 1, 2013 in a limited release in the US and the UK.

And I am mad jealous.

I significant part of me wishes I hadn’t seen the trailer at all, and just watch the film. It looks interesting, though. I was a little bothered by Nicole Kidman’s face, but I think it works for the chilly effect.
