R. Balki’s Ki & Ka Trailer with English Subtitles

I’ll be perfectly honest with you- I’m not a big fan of R. Balki as everyone seems to be. Cheeni Kum, Paa, Shamitabh… they’re all okay. They all have their good moments as they do their meh elements. I’m also not a fan of Kareena Kapoor or Arjun Kapoor, and the idea of them being a couple gave me a sort of chill similar to the one when I saw Saawariya… because I thought Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were family too. LOL They’re not related… though Kareena and Ranbir, as well as Arjun and Sonam are.

The trailer for Ki & Ka (also presented as “Ki and Ka“) does your usual gender reversal of working woman and stay-at-home husband. It looks easy breezy, chuckle-worthy. My problem with it is that I felt that it totally diminished the importance of housewives. Arjun Kapoor’s character doesn’t want to have a career because he doesn’t want the stress… so he stays at home. Like taking care of a home isn’t stressful! LOL Let’s not forget CEO ‘housewives’ need to run the house and all social events for her husband’s career.

But I’ll give it the benefit of doubt-
