Floating City Trailer with English Subtitles//

I have very mixed feelings for this. First, there’s my fangirly side where I want Aaron Kwok to get together with me. Then there’s the part of me that wants to cry a river from this story.

I really couldn’t find much from Floating City (浮城大亨) — also known as Hundred Years of a Floating City – but all you need to know is in the trailer. Written and directed by Yim Ho, the film (based on true events) stars Aaron Kwok as a mixed-race man who grows up never being really accepted as a Chinese or an English man.

The cast is rounded up with Nina Paw Hei-Ching (Reign of Assassins), Charlie Yeung Choi-Nei, Josie Ho Chiu-Yee (McDull, The Alumni), Annie Liu Xin-You (Exodus), and introducing Carlson Cheng.

Floating City will open in Hong Kong on May 18th, 2012.
