F-27 (2013) Trailer

When it comes to Peruvian football teams, there’s no doubt that Alianza Lima is one of the country’s most popular teams alongside Universitario de Deportes, Sporting Cristal and others. I still support Alianza, but I don’t follow Peruvian football with the same passion as I used to years ago. I really hope they do better next year after the lousy display they had during this year’s tournament.

Anyways, a trailer for the upcoming Peruvian film F-27 was released online, just around the 25th anniversary of the 1987 Fokker F-27 air disaster. I’m pretty sure not many people in Peru knew about this film being made, but you can check out the trailer below.

In F-27, news journalist Lalo (Oscar Lopez Arias) is determined to find out the truth regarding the tragic airplane accident that only left one survivor. As his research continues, his life will be put in danger.

The film is directed by Willy Combe and includes Renato Ibérico and Alfonso Silva Santisteban as cast members. F-27 has yet to have an official release date in Peru, but it is rumored to premiere in theaters during 2013.
