Drive Trailer

After emerging from the Cannes Film Festival with the award for Best Director, Nicolas Winding Refn finally gives audiences a look at what seems to be the Danish director’s masterpiece.

Based on the novel by James Sallis, Drive tells the story of a Hollywood stunt performer who doubles as a wheelman during robberies, but soon discovers that he has a contract on his head after a heist gone wrong.

Here we have the intense and gripping red band trailer for the film, with plenty of neo-noir goodness, sexual tension, car chases, and violence.

When you’ve got people as beautiful and talented as Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, and Christina Hendricks, you know you’ve got something that will appeal to the masses. But add Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, Oscar Isaac, and Albert Brooks to the mix and you’ve got yourself one of the best ensemble casts of the year.

There’s no doubt in my mind that this will be one of the best films of the year and I’m glad to say that this trailer has got me under its spell.

@ghost, I think you could cut that sentence down to, “Christina Hendricks is just too hot.”

Just edited this post because the other video was gone. Hopefully this is the same footage as the red band trailer.
