Deadpool (2016) Trailer 2

“I didn’t ask to be super, and I’m no hero. But when you find out your worst enemy is after your best girl, the time has come to be a fucking superhero.”

The second trailer for Deadpool has been released online just in time for Christmas Day, which also gets mentioned in this trailer and gives us a closer look at Piotr Rasputin/Colossus (Stefan Kapičić and Andre Tricoteux, both replacing Daniel Cudmore) as well as all the violent and bloody action you’d expect from this film.

The Rated-R Fox film will follow the misadventures of mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds, in his second shot at playing the Deadpool character after X-Men Origins: Wolverine and also serving as one of the film’s producers) who gets transformed into a mutant with superhealing abilities after an experiment to cure him of cancer goes awry. As a result, Wilson takes on the persona of Deadpool, a wisecracking antihero who knows he’s a comic book favorite.

The cast also includes Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams and Jed Rees.

Directed by Tim Miller, who is making his directorial debut, and with a screenplay co-written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, Deadpool “Gon’ Give It To Ya” on February 12, 2016.
