Black Panther – Teaser Trailer

After a brand new poster in the morning, Marvel released the teaser trailer for Black Panther during the NBA Playoffs and, of course, online:

Gotta say I really love the general look of Wakanda and its inhabitants, as well as Black Panther’s display of abilities. Everyone looks amazing and I appreciate the edition of the scenes to the beat of Run The Jewels’ “Legend Has It” [1]. I may or may have not danced in my seat. Here’s the synopsis:

After the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, T’Challa returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars the black excelence of Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Forest Whitaker, Florence Kasumba, Daniel Kaluuya and Angela Bassett. Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman are there too. The film premieres on February 16, 2018.
