Aleksandr Proshkin’s Garden of Eden Trailer

This trailer looks super serious, compared to the 3min. clip that was released a couple of months ago, which shows some of the same clips with a -slightly- dry humorous touch.

Anyway~ the first official trailer to Aleksandr Proshkin’s (Cold Summer of 1953, Doctor Zhivago) Garden of Eden (Райские Кущи, Rayskie Kushchi) — based on the 1970 play Duck Hunting (Утиная Охота) by Alexander Vampilov — is out, and it stars Yevgeniy Tsyganov as a young cynic web designer called Viktor Zilov, that’s living the life as he has just moved to a brand new apartment in a posh side of town, he is talented, has a promising career, and is a total womanizer despite the fact that he has been married for the last six years to the intelligent and beautiful Galya (Khamatova).

Sorry, the trailer has no subs~ but the 3min. clip does!

The film also stars Agrippina Steklova, Vitaliy Khaev, Dmitry Kulichkov, Alyona Yakovleva, Artyom Semakin, and Angelina Mirimskaya.

Garden of Eden opens this November 26th.
