Studio Apartment featuring Su, Ilmari and Meisa Kuroki – Miss Universe
Japanese dance music duo Studio Apartment releases its single Miss Universe (ミス ユニバース), featuring Su Ilmari, from Japanese hip hop group RIP SLYME, and Meisa Kuroki.
Beginning their activities in 2000, DJ Masanori Morita (森田昌典) and keyboardist Noboru Abe (阿部登) are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a special collaboration album titled Nihon no Uta (にほんのうた), which includes artists such as Seeda, Aisha, Jay’Ed, May J., and Miyavi.

The music video for the song was directed by Yu-ya Hara, who has previously worked with the likes of Koda Kumi, SAY, SCANDAL and Risa Yamaguchi in music videos, as well as Girls’ Generation and J Soul Brothers. You can check her videography on MFG Tokyo.

I dig the song and the video. Meisa should really do more of this music…
@Julyssa, that means she should do beat-driven songs but no dancing in her videos, which means her label needs to get her really good MV directors so she doesn’t need to rely on it.
