Red Hot Chili Peppers – Go Robot (NSFW)

Just in case, we’ll add the NSFW label for Red Hot Chili Peppers’ latest music video Go Robot because of the near-naked, white-painted, Anthony Kiedis walking around the streets.

The music video was directed by Tota Lee and is heavily inspired by Saturday Night Fever — the font and color for the words in the music video resembles tv series Mr. Robot a bit — including shooting in the exact same locations featured in the 1977 film. Frontman Anthony Kiedis plays as the robot, imitating John Travolta’s Tony Manero character. The band ends up at a disco dance contest where Kiedis interacts with a female robot played by Stephanie Crousillat.

Go Robot is the second single from The Getaway. It was supposed to be the first single from the band’s latest album, but they went with Dark Necessities [MV] instead.
