Ngaiire ft. Nai Palm – Dirty Hercules

This is been the week of incredible music from different countries for me. And I had no choice but to share them with my YAM family. She was part of Australian Idol’s sophomore class and made it to the top 30. Now she’s taking her powerful voice and unique look and giving people a little something more than one would ever expect from an Idol alumnus.

The video is twisted, gnarly. It’s most certainly something that strikes a chord and forces people to take notice. I can’t wait to see what Ngaiire has in store for us in the future. Her album Lamentations is due for release this July. If the rest of her album is anything like the power seen here, I must say I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

As unexpected as my path was to loving all things weird, more unexpected is my ability to get attention for writing about the stuff.
