Massive Attack feat. Young Fathers – Voodoo In My Blood

Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) stars in Massive Attack’s latest music video for Voodoo In My Blood — the second single from their recent EP Ritual Spirit (released on January 28, 2016) — featuring Scottish rap-pop group Young Fathers.

Directed by Ringan Ledwige, the video sees Pike cautiously walks down toward London’s Joe Strummer Subway until she’s confronted by a floating orb that sticks a needle in her eye. After scanning her retina, the orb takes control of Pike’s character, forcing her to smash her head into the wall and convulse with the music — especifically Pike paying tribute to Isabelle Adjani in the subway meltdown scene from Andrzej Zulawski’s Possession.

Rosamund Pike is the second Oscar-nominated star to appear in music videos from Massive Attack’s recent EP, as John Hawkes appeared in the music video for Take It There (feat. Tricky). [MV]
