Katy Perry released the MV for her new single, E.T. on March 30th
The song is a bit catchy and the video is interesting. I bet people are going to say Gaga once they see it, which is a shame, but oh well. Something I found funny in the video was Katy’s product placement, smooth…
What I don’t get is Kanye’s rap. Was it really necessary, or did Kanye not have a clue as to what to say? I find the rap really offensive and very lame. Dude, you need to go back to rap school.

I like the visuals, but yeah xD What’s up with aliens on pop MVs? xD Having said that, I find it slightly unsettling that the stills promoting the single show an Alien-like Perry that looks eerily CGI. Just slightly unsettling~
But yeh… Kanye. I’ve never warmed up to him. I know he should know how to speak Mandarin, I wonder if he would ever collaborate with someone like… let’s say, Leehom Wang.

EEEW. Why would you ruin LeeHom with Kanye?
By the way, Kanye’s rap isn’t on the album, so the song is actually much better.

@Jenna, LOL – I know right? But I’ve read Leehom likes or liked Kanye or one of his albums. Reminds me of that time when we talked about why we liked some Asian artists (well, Leehom is not really thaaaat Asian), and they in turn liked American artists that we don’t.
