Kana Nishino – Esperanza

It’s Jpop with some Latin flavor!

Kana Nishino (西野 カナ) is a Jpop darling, and I must say that this song is quite nice. Or I might just be a sucker for when cultures collide. I did laugh a little at the Spanish intro, it’s cute. Is Kana trying to go for a “gitana” look here?

      @Jenna, wait… I remember people in north america telling me “all we learn about Spanish is Burrito, Quesadilla, Enchilada”

      And I was like, you’re wrong – it’s not Buritouu, it’s BOO RRRRRRRREEEEE TOH xD

      Japanese should be able to get Spanish a little easier~

    @julili lol. xD

    @Amy – I retained a lot of my Spanish from high school, and I actually pride myself on my pronunciation of foreign languages. But some of my friends? Not so much. My friend’s boyfriend actually asked someone at a Mexican restaurant for some of that “tomatiLA” instead of “tomateeya” xD
