Jay Chou – Exclamation

The latest music video from our fave Taiwan mumbler is out. It’s surprising that he’s not mumbling all that much anymore.

Exclamation (驚嘆號), which brought memories of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Californication, shows a very CGI-looking Jay Chou, hopefully intended to look pretty “old school” — if you can call something five or ten years old “old school”.

I gotta admit that I’m not a very big fan of Jay Chou outside his zhongguo feng songs, so I’m not particularly fond of this new single. However, as I keep reading news and rumors about the Asian entertainment industry, particularly in Taiwan, I’m very much aware of the infamous paparazzi encounters with Jay and his reaction to them.

CGI Jay being chased down the highway, and him blowing things up is no subtle hint. LOL
