Diplo x CL x RiFF RAFF x OG Maco – Doctor Pepper

The “queen” of Kpop, CL, seems to semi-officially start her entry in to the American music industry with a trap inspired collaboration with Diplo, RiFF RAFF, and OG Maco.

It is unclear if this is an “original” marketing strategy by Dr.Pepper to be more edgy, or if the song is as CL explained to The FADER: “Diplo canceled a session on me, and I was so mad at him. I was drinking a can of Dr. Pepper and wrote the song so I could go home as soon as possible.”

Whatever it might be, it is somewhat interesting and miles away from the style and sound CL is well-known back in South Korea and the Kpop scene. Question is if this video will draw more attention to the song and CL.
