Canadian music producer Deadmau5 has released the single for his latest song The Veldt in a vocal collaboration with Chris James, whom he found on Twitter. Seriously.

The music video, an adaptation of a 1950s short story of the same name by Ray Bradbury, tells the story of a boy and a girl addicted to a virtual reality room that’s perennially stuck with a view of the African savanna with lions feeding on carcasses. Their parents, concerned with their well-being, try to amend this problem… with dire consequences.

 Qudos Animations was in charge of the animation.

Ray Bradbury passed away on June 5th, 2012.
