David Bowie – The Stars (Are Out Tonight) (NSFW)

Tilda Swinton plays David Bowie’s wife in the music video for The Stars (Are Out Tonight), the second single of Bowie’s upcoming album The Next Day.

In the video, Bowie and Swinton go about their normal daily routines until their house is infiltrated by a pair of creepy, alien-like celebrities (models Andrej Pejic and Saskia De Brauw) — both bearing a noticeable resemblance to various iterations of Bowie of yore — who proceed to drug the pair and take over their lives. There are some graphic, probably NSFW images, featuring sex scenes between the “stars” and a bugged-out Swinton carving a raw turkey with an electric knife.

The video was directed by Floria Sigismondi, who previously worked with Bowie on Little Wonder [MV] and Dead Man Walking [MV].

The Next Day will be released on March 11, 2013.
