Coldplay – A Head Full Of Dreams (MV)

I knew it was a matter of time before this song would get its own music video.

Hearing it live was great, but I also wondered why (at the time) it didn’t have a video to promote it as a single. It’s a very strong opening intro song for their concerts as far as Chris Martin’s band is concerned.

Anyway, Coldplay riding their bikes to their own concert in Mexico City is the premise for the music video of A Head Full Of Dreams, the fifth single from their latest (and same-titled) studio album.

The video was directed by James Marcus Haney, whom worked with the band on the music video for Birds, [MV] and uses Super-8 footage of the band in their current tour as well as letting everyone hear Charles Chaplin’s speech from The Great Dictator that is used in Coldplay’s concerts before A Head Full Of Dreams blasts live on stage.

Coldplay is currently on tour in the USA until September 04 (Philadelphia) and then concludes its world tour on December with concerts in New Zealand and Australia.
