Celina Jaitly featuring Neeraj Shridhar – The Welcome

Ex-Miss India, and sometimes actress sometimes singer Celina Jaitly is the goodwill ambassador of the United Nations’ Free and Equal campaign, for which they have launch the first ever -sorta- Bollywood music video in support of LGBT rights.

In the video, a family is preparing to received their son back to introduce his “special friend” to the them, and there’s a bit of uneasy confusion when they realize he’s bringing back his boyfriend. It’s reminiscent of A-Mei Chang’s Love Is The Only Thing (愛是唯一) [1], but more festive.
