BTS – Blood, Sweat & Tears

I felt I needed to commemorate this~ This is the first time I’ve clicked on a Korean mainstream music video and found all MV credits neatly listed on the description box. Turns out BigHit Entertainment have been posting these credits for some of their latest releases, so BIG PROPS!

Turns out BTS (방탄소년단), which stands for Bangtan Boys and debuted three years ago, have been breaking online views and sale records— their second studio album, Wings, is the best-charting Kpop release [1] since the inception of Kpop in the Billboard charts, and their latest music video has become one of the fastest Kpop MVs to reach 1M and 20M views.

Titled Blood, Sweat & Tears (피 땀 눈물), the Reggaeton-infused *shudders* track shows Renaissance pop excess at the hands of director Choi YongSeok for Lumpens.

Director: YongSeok Choi (Lumpens)
Assistant Directors: Edie YooJeong Ko (Lumpens)
Director of Photography: HyunWoo Nam(GDW)
Gaffer: GyeungSeok Kim(Sunny)
Art Director: MoonYoung Lee (Myllab)
Special Effects: YunKyun Shin(DnD line)

Choreography by: Keone Madrid & Quick Style Crew
Choreography & performance supervision: Sungdeuk Son
