Alejandro Fernández featuring Christina Aguilera – Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti
Mexican singer Alejandro Fernandez — known for his crossover rancheras ballads more than his Latin pop — has released the first single from his upcoming studio album titled Confidencias, which will be released on August 27th.
The song titled Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti, which roughly translates to “today I’ve got an itch for you,” is a duet with American singer and favorite everyone-loves-to-hate Christina Aguilera, who makes a return to the Latin ballad genre since her Spanish debut, Mi Reflejo, 13 years ago, which spawned singles like Pero Me Acuerdo de Ti [MV].
The music video was directed by Colombian music video director Simon Brand who has directed videos for Shakira (Estoy Aqui [MV]), Chayanne (Salome [MV]), Thalia (Entre el Mar y una Estrella [MV]), Juanes (Fijate Bien [MV]), Enrique Iglesias (Quizas [MV]), Paulina Rubio, Ricardo Arjona, Ricky Martin and others.
Confidencias is Alejandro Fernandez’ 18th studio album, following the double-disc album Dos Mundos: Evolución + Tradición, which was the first album under Universal Music following his split with Sony.
