AKB48 – Everyday Headband
Extremely popular mega-girl group AKB48 released the MV to their new single Everyday Headband (Everyday, カチユーシャ) on April 25th.
I love the meta of this MV. If you are an AKB48 fan then you can see the homage to previous AKB48 MVs. It doesn’t make sense at all but, hey, it was nicely shot.
I may not be a big fan of AKB48 but I do love their MV’s. For such a large girl group, they make very impressive MVs. I guess that’s what you get when you automatically have a bunch of extras.
I’m not crazy about the song. I miss old-school AKB48, the one that sang raunchy songs instead of this cutesy stuff.
I love me some AKB.
I do agree with you though, I miss their Seifuku ga Jama o Suru/ Keibetsu Shiteita Aijō kind of songs.
@bumbledoor, Thos two songs to me are Jpop gold. That was what really made me even glance at AKB48. I used to be a huge Morning Musume fan you see…
It is sad that AKB as with MM went the fanservice way. But I guess that is what you get when you want money over quality.
