A.R. Rahman featuring Anna Beatriz – Ginga

The video clip for Ginga [the swinging back and forth movement in Capoeira [1]], a single to promote the upcoming American biographical sports drama, Pelé: Birth of a Legend, following the early years of football superstar Pele is ready; at the hands of Indian composer A.R. Rahman, who is also in charge of its score. For the song, he’s collaborating with US-based Brazilian singer Anna Beatriz [1].

The film was shot on location in Brazil but will be presented in English, introducing Leonardo Lima Carvalho and Kevin de Paula as the young versions (childhood and teenage) of the sport star. The rest of the cast is rounded up by Rodrigo Santoro, Vincent D’Onofrio, Diego Boneta and Colm Meaney.
