Is this your first time performing in America?

All: Yes.

What are your impressions of Austin, so far?
Naru: I heard it was some kind of desert? But it’s not! And people are energetic here, it’s been good.
You’ve toured around Asia and throughout Europe already, what are some of your favorite memories from those experiences?
Sol: The Europe tour, Paris. It was a really beautiful city, and really hot too. We had 6 shows in 12 days.

YAM: You were busy!
Sol: Yeah.

Your music because of its’ upbeat melodies and English lyrics are universally appealing. Are you hoping to break into the Western market? Was it a conscious decision to make everything in English?
Naru: The first time we didn’t. We only like many Western [artists] and we learned many things from western music. So that was the appeal to our music, but many people liked it. And with luck we have come here and are showing our music to a Western audience, it’s amazing.

Sol: We just care about good music.

Naru: The music was good for us, the first time.

What is your writing style? Who writes everything and how do you work on a song together?
Naru: Sol does many melody works and I do many chord works, or arranging melody and arranging instruments. But now we are four [band members] we used to be two. So we talk to each other more, I think it’s all, the song is from all of us.
