Amy’s 2014 Music Highlights

10. GaIn (가인) – Truth or Dare

Though I don’t think GaIn’s Truth or Dare is as well put together as Let’s Talk About S [1], it’s one of the more interesting offerings of commercial not-so commercial Kpop. There’s still nothing to match Tinkerbell, though. NOTHING TO MATCH IT. Fxxk U [MV] still trumps most of the songs in the album, though I do have a weakness when GaIn goes “Wanna know the trussssss, all the trusssss.” in Truth or Dare [MV] xD

You can also stream this on Xiami and buy it on iTunes or YesAsia.

9. St. Vincent – St. Vincent

I literally have a love/hate relationship with St. Vincent, when the debut Marry Me came out, I loved it. Detested Actor, I entered Strange Mercy with caution and liked Annie Clark’s work with David Byrne. I think St. Vincent is quite a bounce from Actor into Strange Mercy territory. Not as good as that first album, though. I really had to think about it before including it in the Top10. It definitely made it to my Top15, though. Favorite tracks? RattlesnakeBirth in ReverseDigital Witness, and Bring Me Your Loves.

You can also stream on Xiami, and buy on iTunes or Amazon.
