Experiment Awards: Best of 2013

For common people (who take not only Best Of lists but all lists too seriously), it takes a while to compile one that you’re completely satisfied with. This is my futile attempt with 227 titles considered… but it is time I get this over with. I doubt anything else will be able to crack my Top30… let alone my Top10.

There’s little surprise that the Special Effects category is largely dominated by Hollywood projects and the Score section is encompassed by more movies from the West, while the Compilation section is largely dominated by India for more than obvious reasons. However, I do gotta admit that I’m surprised how most categories outside the Best Picture or Best Director shaped up.

Note: A score should be mostly instrumental, while a compilation NEEDS to be a release of original songs (music and lyrics) for the movie. That should clear Guardians of the Galaxy for next year. LOL

Note 2: Selected clip does not denote winner.

So here we go~
