The entire club was dancing, screaming, throwing their hands in the air and trying to sing along in French. From start to end, no one stood still for a second. Yelle came to Stockholm and rocked her socks out at Club Popaganda.
From sitting in small Swedish fan-meetings, enjoying concerts on DVD, being envious of those who were able to see DBSK live, finally we had arrived and were going to experience everything we could dream of back home.
As I entered the small and dark club Debaser, the place was already packed with people. The show had sold out and some unlucky fans without a ticket had to return home. In front of the stage, the Tove Styrke fan club in their signed white T-shirts were waiting anxiously for their idol to take the stage.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers entered the stage at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm
As the six guys of Snow Patrol, plus touring member and background vocalist, Shauna Tohill, entered the stage the crowd screamed and welcomed their indie rock heroes.
It’s harsh to say that the concert was a disaster, but I believe that most of the audience were expecting something else because many of them looked disappointed and even sleepy, while some of them closed their eyes and embraced the new spiritual sound of the band.
I attended the historical SM Town concert that was held in Paris on June 10 and 11. First time a Korean pop concert of this kind is held in Europe. The experience, memories, but mostly the opportunity to see the artists I love live.
After traveling all over the world, hitting 7 different international locations since 2010, the famous SM Town Live finally made it to New York City. Whether you’re a fan of a few or all SM Entertainment artists you should not miss out on this magnificent concert. It’s making K-Pop history all over the world.
I had the pleasure of seeing SHINee in Singapore. A very decent concert in all but sadly also a warning bell to the exploitation of Korean artists.
