The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Walk, walk fashion baby

TUESDAY

So yeah, Hiddles is judging a design for T-shirts contest for WeLoveFine.com. Yup, the same place where he got that lovely Loki T-shirt he wore as thanks to his Twitter fans. The contest looks very awesome, since all the designs must be of Marvel villains. Also, if you are not a designer, you can enter a different contest where Pinterest users could get free T-shirts.

In other Marvel news, besides Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, there’s gonna be another animated series called Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. Ok fine, but I am still pissed for Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

DC Comics has released a preview of five pages of Silk Spectre #1. I like the art and the story… is not bad. Not great either, but it is too soon to tell.

So Hugh Laurie could be the bad guy in the Robocop reboot… which is relevant to my interests. I still remember Robocop with fondness, considering I was too young when I watched it. So Laurie as the evil CEO of Omni Corp would join Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish and Samuel L. Jackson. That is indeed awesome.

WEDNESDAY

There’s a new international trailer for Django Unchained, which is even more awesome than the last one! LOL at “You mean you want to dress like that?”

Anton Yelchin joins the cast of Only Lovers Left Alive. And OK, I’m not that interested in Yelchin (sorry kid), but I love to be reminded that Tom Hiddleston and Tilsa Swinton will be vampire lovers!

So the Star Trek sequel will get the IMAX treatment… there really needs to be an IMAX in this country. Damn those lucky bastards who get to see Benedict Cumberbatch et al on IMAX.

And today there are a lot of Marvel Movies birthdays! So Happy B-day to Chris Evans, Stellan Skarsgård and Kat Dennings!
