Yeah, I don’t think it’s such a great idea that Seth Grahame-Smith works on the script of the Fantasic Four reboot movie. I mean, I like that the new plot is all about “taking a grounded superhero and sci-fi approach to the heroes and will tap deep into the comics mythology”. But, come on! Grahame-Smith wrote the scripts of Dark Shadows and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Yep, not comforting at all.

He’s a really brilliant improvisationalist. He’s incredibly quick-witted. Everything he brings to Tony Stark is him. Of course there’s all of the tradition from the comic books, the movie, and also the writing is brilliant, but there’s also a heavy dose of that character is Robert Downey Jr. He’s inspiring to work with and watch. He’s a force.
This is not the first time I heard RDJ described as “a force”. Scarlett Johansson also described him like that before.
Chris Cooper gets to be Norman Osborne in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. So he’s to play Dane DeHaan’s dad? What’s with Normans having good-looking sons? I mean, I don’t like James Franco, but I can objectively says he’s too atractive to be Willem Dafoe’s son. Actually, the question should be when did Harry Osborne got good-looking? Is it the fault of Ultimate Spider-Man (I mean the comics, not the cartoon)?
Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles get renewed for a new season! Yep, not only a second season is in production, but a third one is assured! Woohoo!
Hercules moves its date, in order to not compete against Guardians of the Galaxy. That would seem lik a smart move, but the new date means it will compete with X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Hobbit: Here and Back Again. I don’t mind, I will watch all of them. And as long as I get my Dwayne Johnson fix, it’s all fine. Even if it’s directed by Brett Ratner.
It looks like In the Flesh is taking a different approach to the “zombie returning to society” genre than Les revenants, which is getting a UK TV remake by the creator of State of Play and Shameless. Interesting how we’re seeing more zombies becoming human/having thoughts, like in Warm bodies.
The Audrey Hepburn is uncanny. I’m unsure of this whole “using the image of the dead” thing, though. Maybe for a movie cameo, but advertising??? I liked Gene Kelly dancing, and the j’adore Dior cameos made, at least, a bit of sense having fashion icons. But chocolate? Let Hugh decide whether he wants to sell Iced Tea [1], but having your heirs decide you should sell chocolate is… weird. LOL All you need to do to make a living, is be the direct heir to someone who was famous to make a few million bucks? Can Drew Barrymore resurrect the Barrymores? Will Whitney Houston’s kid resurrect her in the coming years? Will Michael Jackson’s kids make a living solely based on the image of their father?
Now more than ever I want famous parents hahaha
Also, about the Oscar tie- I think it’s unfair that 3 votes aren’t counted to break the tie, after all, it isn’t like the Academy has over a million voting members to not have those 3 votes matter.
