The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Suddenly, Hiddles!

THURSDAY

Let’s start with the serious news.

We finally saw the first images of Django Unchained, the new Tarantino movie that we anticipate so much!  Christoph, Jamie and Leo look all nice and saturated.

OMG, THE BAFTA TV AWARDS NOMINATIONS… what? I like British TV!

For the most part.

And there they are! Our boys from Sherlock getting nominated. Congrats, Andrew Scott, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch and… WHAT THE HELL? Sherlock didn’t get nominated for Best Drama? What is this buttf*ckery!

You were right, Mr. Hiddleston, I want to hulk-smash something right now.

In related news, kinda, according to this interview, Benedict Cumberbatch finds Otters Who Look Like Benedict Cumberbatch, “brilliant” and “fantastic.

We do, too, my dear. We do, too.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson quoting Cervantes… and retweeted by Tom Hiddleston. Not sure if he’s a fan of “The Rock,” or of wrestling in general. Anyway, be still my beating heart!

Also, let me fangirl about the fact that someone I know met The Hiddles, interviewed him, saw him eat lots of bananas — was there any eye contact during this? — and also gave him fanart of one of the best Tumblr artist out there. Poor Gingerhaze also apparently “died” of shock when Hiddles tweeted about it, that life ruiner.

BTW, I went to watch The Avengers again. I will probably do it again some time next week… Don’t judge me!

Finally, a day like today 23 years ago, Dragon Ball Z premiered on Fuji Television. Oh, my childhood!

What? I can put images not Hiddles-related. My tastes are varied and broad, for real!

“Volare” is an amazing song. Kudos to Mr. Hiddleston for singing it briefly.
