The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: One more time~

Hello, fellow geeks. This week started the main geek event of the year, the San Diego Comic-Con International, and it brought us much news… and then I watched Interstella 5555 again. But I digress, here’s how the week started~

SATURDAY

Watched Henry IV, Part I, which felt more intimate and less colorful. That said, Tom Hiddleston looked gorgeous and it kicked ass! Here’s an interview with the clothes costume designer for Henry IV, Part 1 and Part 2.

We made [Tom Hiddleston’s] armour out of rubber and he was sewn into things at times. It was precisely fitted so he could move and look sexy because he’s got an amazing physique. It’s like working with a finely tuned instrument and you work very hard to get it right.

Even the professionals aren’t safe from Hiddles’ charms!

OMG Sailor Moon new anime! My inner pre-teen girl is flailing like Kermit!

Three new TV spots for The Bourne Legacy! Jeremy Renner looks so cute for some reason. Must be his size.

Yay! Viral video for new Robocop movie!

It’s totally doing its work since it makes me wanna see the movie. They even have that fake website for OmniCorp, like Prometheus had for Weyland Industries.

SUNDAY

A day full of Batman!

First, Christopher Nolan got his hands on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame [1]! Almost all The Dark Knight Rises cast were there! Sadly, no Tom Hardy (or Marion Cotillard), though.

Then there was a 13-minute featurette, talking about the mythology of the movie.

And the day ended with a sorta-trailer for The Dark Knight Reborn, a documentary on Nolan’s Bat trilogy.
