FRIDAY

Welp, J.K. Rowling may have asked us fans not to spoil Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but let’s be realistic, we all knew “Snape killed Dumbledore” before we even read the book, so some fans ain’t keeping no secrets. So yep, the entire plot has made it online, and here it is. Read at your own risk!

Here we have some set pics of the new Wolverine movie, featuring Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart looking so old it’s painful! Don’t age and die, Sir Patrick! Also, there’s a young actress there. Could she be X-23?

In comicbook news, DC Universe: Rebirth #1 was May’s best-selling comicCivil War II #0 is number 2, The Punisher #1 is number 3, Batman #52 is number 4, and Captain America: Steve Rogers #1 rounds up the Top 5. DC Entertainment may have won in individual best-selling comic, but it only came number 2 after Marvel Comics won May’s top publisher.

Suicide Squad get new awesome character portraits! And I share the most awesome one of Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Sorry, other squad members, you all look kinda basic. Except poor Diablo and Slipknot that didn’t even got one! Also, it’s been confirmed that the film will be a “major presence” at this year’s San Diego Comic Con!

Finally, and talking about SDCC, Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson not only posted a new set image (taken back in March) with Benedict Cumberbatch and Chewitel Ejiofor, but confirmed the presence of the film at San Diego Comic Con! With both Warner and Disney showing their comicbook films at SDCC, I guess it’s only 20th century Fox that doth protest too much.

And that’s it for the week. Before I go, I want to wish Happy Birthday to Angelina Jolie, Jason Isaacs, Robert Englund, Karl Urban, Liam Neeson, Michael J. Fox, Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp.
