The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Infinity feels~

WEDNESDAY

As we know, Empire Magazine will have an edition on Hunger Games After Mockingjay Part 2, and here is an excerpt. So we have two questions, will there be more about the Hunger Games after the movies are over, just like we will get Fantastic Beast even if the Harry Potter film series were over some time ago? Tough thing, “There are a lot of past games and a lot of this world, but without Katniss, is it the same?” Also, there is no digital trickery to complete the work of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

He had two substantial scenes left and the rest were appearances in other scenes. We had no intention of trying to fake a performance, so we rewrote those scenes to give to other actors… The rest we just didn’t have him appear in those scenes. There’s no digital manipulation or CG fabrication of any kind.

Joss Whedon may not have been at the Marvel event, he has recently talked about Avengers: Age of Ultron and its global scale. Dudes have been all over the world like the Italian Alps. Seoul, Johannesburg, Bangladesh and all over England.

This is a very global film. We wanted the world perspective on The Avengers. They’re being The Avengers and that’s a global thing and it doesn’t make everybody love them, so we wanted to see both sides of that…

We also had the teaser of Agent Carter. And while the narrator seems a bit ridiculous, the brief images look mighty fine!

On the topic of TV news, MTV has ordered a Scream TV series. Yes, they will remake the movie into a 10 episodes TV show that will premiere in October 2015. I expect Ghostface will be there.

Now, for something different, lots of Naruto news! Naruto is a long running Shounen manga series and it’s coming to an end after 15 years. Yes, the manga finale will be delivered in Weekly Shonen Jump on November 10. It will also be two chapters long, and the second one will be in full color! Besides, the end of the manga, we have the newest and (possibly) last movie, called appropriately  The Last – Naruto the Movie on December 6. Those who watch the movie on that Saturday, will receive a bonus Official Movie Book Naruto Hiden Retsu no Sho, a limited-edition official fan book that will include an exclusive manga, drawn by Naruto mangaka Masashi Kishimoto. Two days after that, there will be a novelization of the movie.

THURSDAY

Entertainment Weekly shows us a first look at the new Terminator! Hi! Matt Smith! Damn, Khaleesi Sarah Connor looks not so good! No Arnie tho!

I expect some time-traveling shenanigans in Terminator: Genisys (I still cannot get over how ridiculous that is), since Sarah Connor looks way younger than her son John Connor and besides the new stuff delivered by Entertainment Weekly shows us that time can be rewritten (if this movie indeed is part of the previews movie verse).

Sarah Connor isn’t the innocent she was when Linda Hamilton first sported feathered hair and acid-washed jeans in the role. Nor is she Hamilton’s steely zero body-fat warrior in 1991’s T2. Rather, the mother of humanity’s messiah was orphaned by a Terminator at age 9. Since then, she’s been raised by (brace yourself) Schwarzenegger’s Terminator—an older T-800 she calls “Pops”—who is programmed to guard rather than to kill. As a result, Sarah is a highly trained antisocial recluse who’s great with a sniper rifle but not so skilled at the nuances of human emotion.

I may get to watch Hiddles on a weekly basis for six to eight weeks! Also Hugh Laurie. Yay! Or that’s what The Hollywood Reporter claims. Yep, according to them, AMC has picked up the John le Carre limited series, The Night Manager. BBC says it is still speculation. Bunch of party poopers!

For some reason, Benedict Cumberbatch talked about Sherlock’s hypothetical approach to sex with a reporter of Elle UK. Dude has put too much thought into this and makes me wonder if he’s trolling the fandom, waiting for their reactions on Tumblr? That, or he really reads a lot of fanfiction. Maybe even writes it too! Here’s a part… and note how, as many actors, he talks about his character in first person, which makes this a new level of awesome/awkward!

I would be devastating. I’d know exactly how to please a woman, I’d know exactly where to put my fingers, where to put my tongue, where to put my – his I should say – his fingers, his tongue. Think about violinists, think about what they can do with their fingers.

Marvel’s Summer 2015 is even more busy with this new teaser that show your friendly neighbor, titled The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows. It totally reminds you of Spider-Man’s erased wedding with Mary Jane, and even show their child, which could totally be May “Mayday” Parker~
