And now we know where the trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy will premiere! February 18th! That is this tuesday! Yay!
Anthony Mackie talks about his character Sam Wilson/The Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and his uniform:
When we had our first conversation about the movie, my biggest statement to the Russos was, ‘You better not make me look like an idiot.’ That was my greatest fear. Even though I wanted to wear red spandex, I was hugely afraid of looking like a pigeon! […] The Ultimate look gives him a sense of purpose and makes him look like a badass. The wings can look funny at times, so you have to do something to combat that – at no point in time do you want him to show up on film and have people laugh.
The website Schmoes Know claims to have Marvel’s Phase 3 plans, and they have yet to include a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, a Black Widow or a Black Panther movie. Damn.
The movies that will be part of Phase III for absolute certain are: Ant-Man, Captain America 3, Thor 3, The Avengers 3 and Dr. Strange.
Clancy Brown, who has voiced Lex Luthor on many Warner/DC animations, comments on Jesse Eisenberg as Lex~
I just watched Now You See Me, which I thought he was terrific in. He has a really specific persona engrained that is super-smart. You don’t necessarily like him, but you don’t dislike him. You don’t necessarily think he’s a good, fun guy — you see him as a real quirky, weird dude. You don’t completely trust him, although he’s kind of adorable in his nerdy way.

Here’s the box art for LEGO The Hobbit game, where we pick our favourite character available and follow the storyline of the first two films. I want this game. And I hope someone puts together the cutscenes like they on LEGO Lord of The Rings!

Finally, Ellen Page came out today during a speech at the inaugural “Time to THRIVE” conference in Las Vegas. It was a lovely speech and you could tell she was nervous. Good for you, girl, and I am glad many support you.
I’m here today because I am gay. And because… maybe I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility. […] I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out.
