The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Don’t Touch Lola

WEDNESDAY

New promo of Avengers Assemble~ OK, I am slowly warming up to this! Will still wait for May 26th to give my final opinion~

So J. August Richards is not playing Luke Cage in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but whatever he is playing he seems to have done an awesome job doing it, says executive producer Jeffrey Bell. There are rumors he could be playing Rage though.

There will be a Peggy Carter short film for Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘s DVD! Hayley Atwell herself confirms it. Yes!

Fans of the first film really wanted to find out what happened to Peggy afterwards, so Marvel are also making a short film, which is basically ‘What Peggy Did Next’, which will be shown at [San Diego] Comic-Con and be on the DVD extras of the second film. So as well as doing a bit in the new film, I’ve got a whole new spin-off short film. It has been great to be back in training with the stunt co-ordinators, kicking some butt again

Apparently there’s gonna be lots of car action on Captain America: The Winter Soldier, since none of the characters can fly but Falcon. I kinda like how all MCU movies have their own feel and looks~

BTW, the cast from Captain America: The Winter Soldier look quite atractive in these behind-the-scenes pictures~

And now Scarlett Johansson also joins Chef… With Favreau and RDJ, this is turning into a little Iron Man 2 reunion, right?

Scriptwriter Damon Lindelof talks about “the Justice League problem”:

The problem is: What’s the tone of that movie? They’ve been struggling with launching their own tone. The tone of Green Lantern is very different from the tone of The Dark Knight. They clearly inhabit two entirely different worlds. You want to feel like someone is establishing a world where the Justice League can exist, maybe Man of Steel is that movie. If Man of Steel works, and it’s great, I think it starts to make sense where Paradise Island is in that world. Because that’s an entirely different world than the one Christopher Nolan introduced.

A Doctor Who Character Encyclopaedia? Want!

The 200 full-page character profiles will detail the show’s most famous foes, companions and monsters from across its fifty year history.

Here’s a picture of the Sherlock series 3 wedding! With Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch dressing practically the same, and with Amanda Abbington in the middles… it kinda looks like a threeway wedding. LOL. Here’s a link to the Hi-Res version~

Another Benedict Cumberbatch interview, this time from Rolling Stone. Here, besides the usual, talks about his next role:

Alan Turing. That’s the person I’m playing after Sherlock‘s third season finishes. Turing is one of the biggest unsung heroes of our day – he basically built the origins of the computer. His homosexuality was exposed in the fifties, a horrendously intolerant time in our history. But his intelligence was how we won the second World War, it is as simple as that. He did it. He cracked the enigma code. This is going to be an exploration of his quiet, unique and difficult personality, sure, but mainly it’ll introduce this man to a new generation who haven’t heard about his exploits before.
