The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Don’t Touch Lola

Happy Birthdat to lovely ageless Elf Queen, Cate Blanchett!

New Adventure Time game! It comes to Wii U, 3DS, PS3, Xbox 360, and, most importantly, PC for the poor bastards like me!

Remember that promised Toy Story Halloween special? It’s called Toy Story of Terror and it’s 30-minute TV special which will premiere in ABC in October. Here’s a brief synopsis, courtesy of executive producer Galyn Susman:

Bonnie is on a road trip to go see grandma with her mom and the toys are in the trunk. Mom gets a flat tire and they have to spend the night at a motel and all kinds of chaos ensues.

I could dig these kind of specials as long as there’s no Toy Story 4.

There’s gonna be a series based of From Dusk ‘Til Dawn that will show on a brand new cable network called El Rey Network. Robert Rodriguez will be the chairman of said network. Now, I loved this movie, but I have no idea how they are going to turn it into a show. I’ll give it a shot though!

More TV news! Here’s ABC schedule, guys! And Tuesday 8pm will be my favourite time of the week~ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tested freaking well said ABC president Paul Lee! Weeee!

We don’t normally talk about testing, but [Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.] tested so well in all four quadrants [of the television demographic]. Joss Whedon knows how to create great television with great relationships at the heart of it. It has relationships and humor but also the promise of the Marvel franchise… We think it’s driven by character and will bring a wider audience to us.

Here some stills and the full trailer. And of course, no one is happier than Clark Gregg! Still, he ain’t taking any chances with Whedon~

I have a feeling if they killed me off again it would be for good so I’m very careful to read the end of the script every time I get one. It’s like getting struck by lightning. I kind of hope it hits somebody else first before it comes back to me.

Can’t kill this mofo!

Talking about potentially awesome Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., here are some pilots that never made it. Still mad at Super Clyde though! The fuck, CBS!

Samuel L. Jackson is unsure if he’s gonna be in The Avengers 2, but he sure knows he will be popping up from time to time!

All I know is that I am doing Captain America 2. It’s been cool. The Marvel universe continues to grow and get better. I think I have four or five pictures left on my nine-picture deal, so I will just keep showing up.

Here are some Man of Steel featurettes and stills, because they are trying to kill me with geekness overload.

Christoph Waltz keeps getting jobs and that makes me happy. Now, he will be in an action thriller called Candy Storewith Jason Clarke, Robert De Niro and Omar Sy. I just find this cute because De Niro is Waltz’s hero!

And then, when I thought I couldn’t squee anymore beacuse of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Tilda and Hiddles prove me wrong with these two sneak peeks of Only Lovers Left Alive full of sexual tension and no sparkles! I might have left out a little scream. I promise only my dog heard it. Oh yeah, Mia Wasikowska and Anton Yelchin are in the second clip too.
