The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Coulson Lives!

THURSDAY

Elementary season 2 will start with a London episode!

In the second season premiere episode, Sherlock is called to London to revisit an old case and, while doing so, is forced to face his past. Meanwhile, Watson learns more about Holmes’ mysterious life and the company he kept before he left for New York.

Simon Pegg explain how elaborate that Neutron Cream prank was. I won’t ever find this not funny! Oh, Benedict, you gullible dork~

Yay the presskit of Only Lovers Left Alive! It’s in French but that what Google Translate is for~

Can these wise but fragile outsiders continue to survive as the modern world collapses around them?

Dungeons & Dragons battle yo! I told you how Warner wanted to make a movie of these? Hasbro is all “nu-uh”, we got the rights and we want Universal to do it. Well, this is going to be interesting, I hope.

FRIDAY

We’ll get a Doctor Who celebration at the BAFTA television awards ceremony! Newest companion Jenna Coleman will be there, and also Daleks and a video montage. Yay! Also, damn apparently who John Hurt is playing on the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special!

John will play the real Ninth Doctor. Christopher Eccleston has always been thought of as the Ninth Doctor but now that John has been revealed as the Ninth Doctor, it shuffles Eccleston’s Doctor to be the 10th Time Lord, Tennant the 11th and Smith the 12th. ‘It also means the Doctor’s time is running out as he can only regenerate 12 times.

Oh boy, some fans aren’t going to be happy~ Also, sorry but I already got used to name Eccleston, Tennant and Smith, Nine, Ten and Eleven! Dammit, Moffat!

Avengers Assemble first preview! Yeah, I’m not digging the animation yet. But I can deal if it’s as good story-wise as Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was.

RDJ will be directed by Jon Favreu once more in an indie ensemble comedy Chef.

Favreau is directing from his own script and starring as a man who loses his chef job and starts up a food truck to reclaim his artistic promise and reclaiming his estranged family.

Eh, I’ll give it a chance. I just enjoy RDJ on screen so much~

The Times got a huge awesome article about Benedict Cumberbatch. Here’s the full article for those with no subscriptions to The Times. His parents are awesome and damn mummy sure wants those grandkids already. But how his life has changed since Sherlock?

The Golden Globes. Meryl Streep coming up, going, ‘Oh my God, we’re such big fans. We love you as Sherlock. How do you f***ing do that s***?’ And then Ted Danson – going, ‘Oh my God, it’s f***ing Sherlock.’

Then there was an interview from Metro, which is curiously also the second time in less that a day where my Posh Alien Prince talks about pot~

There was a lot of pressure on me to achieve an Oxbridge level of brilliance at A-levels. But then adolescence came late and I discovered girls, pot and all sorts of other things, so I got a bit lazy.

And finally, the best news ever! Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been officially picked up and I am giddy! I mean, sure, it was very likely they were going to pick this up, but a formal confirmation is something to be happy about! The first promo is set to air this Sunday during the Once Upon a Time season finale, and we even got character badges and did I mention I was giddy?

Good for Clark Gregg and Coulson fans! Oh yeah, and Joss Whedon too, LOL.

And that’s it for the week. Before I go, concept art and unused title sequences of awesome Iron Man 3, and concept designs and VFX of not so awesome but fine enough Oblivion [1], G.I.Joe: Retaliation [2] and Oz: The Great and Powerful [3].
